Frederik Tygstrup is Professor of Comparative Literature at The University of Copenhagen. Originally specialized in the history and theory of the European novel, of which he has published a number of monographs, he has over the last decades worked at the intersections between literature, geography, medicine, affect studies, politics, economy, and the study of culture at large. Recent publications include Finance Aesthetics: A Critical Glossary, Goldsmiths University Press 2024 (with Torsten Andreasen, Emma Brogaard, Mikkel Krause Frantzen, and Nick Huber) and Infrastructure Aesthetics, De Gruyter 2025 (with Solveig Daugaard and Cecilie Ullerup Schmidt).
